Culture_conditions 80-85% RPMI 1640 + 10-15% FBS + HFCS ("Hybridoma Fusion and Cloning Supplement") for the first 1-2 weeks post-thawing cells are difficult to culture! maintain at ca. 0.2-0.8 x 106 cells/ml; split saturated culture 1:2 to 1:4 every 2-3 days; seed out at ca. 0.2 x 106 cells/ml; after thawing cultivate cells for the first 1-2 weeks in 24- or 12-well-plates using HFCS at 37C with 5% CO2 maximal density at ca. 0.8 x 106 cells/ml
